I tried using this very cute strawberry gif as my marker in Suspend function. I’m glad it worked and it’s so cuuuuute! :3 Too bad though, I can’t use it. This is an SP, not just a project. -_-
I was only able to start working last weekend after our initial presentation (doh).
Our intial presentation was last February 3. The weekend right after that, is my rest days. I feel so relieved that I was able to present. Then I was so sabaw starting Monday (Feb 6) and I don’t know why. I sleep at dawn everyday (so that’s about only 3-5 hours) and just listening to music, facebook-ing, twitter-ing, etc. I guess I’ve got some negative vibes and of course, laziness. Or maybe just because I know I already presented. It lasted until weekend (Feb11 -12).
The week after that was Feb Fair, and oh I’m so busy! I can’t get to work on my SP during breaks because either I was tired, there was 142 exam, there was a required paper, or I was busy sewing the teddy bear surprise (ala 9gag) for brods. My mistake was to go to gala everynight. Heck I was so tiiiiired! Sometimes it’s get boring because all I do is walk and walk and walk around the oval. Where’s the fun in that? -_-
So much for the busy week and I was only able to start last Sunday (Feb 19). Saturday was my rest day because I really am sleepy and I’m sure that if I tried to work that day, nothing will matter, I’ll just squeeze nothing out of my empty and tired brain.
So there, I did not go back to Elbi last Monday to still work on my SP. I was able to finish showing of recent disaster and started working on the tagcloud. I learned a new trick with Jquery which is animate and in CSS which is z-index. They helped me a lot. Then I received a very shocking news — our presentation is on Monday!!! SUCH A GOOD NEWS!!! :O
T_T When I arrived this Tuesday, I asked my adviser if we can present on other dates and he said no. :(((((((((((( I panicked. :(((((((((( I’m so scared of the verdict. I just need more time. :((((
Hearing that news, I did not go to my night class. Yes, I was holiday last Tuesday.
I worked on my SP until 12:30am. The tagcloud I’m doing, resulted to a tally. But I’m happy that the functions is now 25% / 50%. The UI is still 5% / 50% but I wouldn’t concenrate much on that anymore.
I slept to recharge and woke up at 5:30am.
I started working on the suspend function using Draggables Marker of Google Maps API. I just need to add a draggable: true in the marker and it was easy. I was planning on getting an input from the admin to where he wants to suspend class, geocode it, pin the marker, and allow the marker to be dragged. I guess my only problem now is getting the coordinates of the newly-positioned marker. I saw a resource on the ‘net with AutoComplete for the address and tried it. It took me hours before successfully producing the projected results. Then when I tried it, I realized that the inputs will only be coming from the source the autocomplete will generate. Heh. I need a wide range of address so I will not use it anymore! HAHAHA. Anyway, it’s not my own code, so it’s okay. :) At least I learned something new. ;)

Yey so happy napapalabas ko na yung New OAuth Dialog Box.
Medyo nagets ko na yung flow.
Aralin ko pa pano nila ginawa yung sa Javascript, kasi medyo copy-paste lang dun sa part na yun.
Tsaka babaguhin ko pa yung sa New OAuth Dialog ko, “Go to App” pa kasi yung nalabas, eh sa iba “Allow” at “Install”. Check ko nalang pano ung babaguhin, or if kaialngan talagang baguhin.
Yun browse browse ng apps, tinitignan yung flow nila and yung ginagamitn ila.
Yung isang app, smurfs, halos kapareho ng flow ko, lumalabas muna ng facebook bago ilagay yung site dun sa Canvas Page.
Whew. Nagkaron ng improvement bago magpresentation latahhhhhh. ;)

I need to learn OAuth Dialog, Feed Dialog and Request Dialog of FB. It is used for authorizing, posting to wall, and sharing to friends the app. Right now, I’m in the OAuth Dialog part and I can’t seem to move on! IT IS SO HARD. SO HARD! SO HARD! I CAN’T UNDERSTAND IT!!! @#%#^&&@@%%!@#@%

Done with editing the Canvas Page of my app. What I did is to set a size for the Canvas Page (width is 760px and height is 800px). You can do this through Developer -> Advanced of FB apps. Then I edited, through CSS, the div holding the whole content of my app (set width and height both to 100% so that it will take all the pixels of the Canvas Page. Yey Thank you Lord I’ve finally figured out how to remove those filthy scroll bars. Ha Ha! :)
Now I’m working on the Authorization part, the one where a dialog (Auth Dialog to be specific) shows asking if you like to allow (sooner FB will change this to Install) the app to access your information. Aja to meeee! :)
Hopefully, after this, I can design and do the remaining functions. Whew.
I transferred files of what I’ve done so far to ___________________ (I don’t what it’s called! haha. Is it domain or host? Okay, domain it is (assumed for the meantime)! Haha. I used FileZilla for that. I also imported the tables from localhost. And then I tried it using this URL -> http://lagunacrisismap.com/ci_sp/index.php/home.
HUHUHUH! IT’S SO SLOWWWWWWWW! :(
I don’t know how to fix these kinds of problems. :O
Also, as you can see, I was able to show multiple markers! Hooray! :)

For now, I will still do other functions, connect to facebook, and maybe at least put the wireframes as a background so that it would have a nice feel and I would be motivated to work! :D
I will also search search search for Jquery tutorials so that I am prepared for the designing this weekend. ;))))))
